By Renata M. Block, MMS, PA-C Fall is finally here, and I don’t want you to FALL behind on good skincare. So, it is time to introduce Epionce to you all. This company never tests on animals, and all of their packagings are recyclable. Wow, respecting animals and Mother Earth? What a concept!!! The brand was created to keep you and your skin healthy, and Mother Nature happy! I will have the great pleasure to share with you my journey with Epionce products starting on October 1st. I am all set with my routine designed for my skin type (normal to oily with hormonal acne flares – yeah, lucky me). You will be getting all the “skinny” on each product, so stay tuned. In the meantime, a little more about the company. Epionce was founded in 2002 by Dr. Carl R. Thornfeldt, which I had the pleasure of meeting last week, and focuses on skincare that is “evidence-based.” Why is this important, you ask? Because clinical trials are essential for proven, effective skincare. Unfortunately, there are A LOT of imposters out there. Did you know purchasing products from an “unauthorized” dealer can be dangerous? People have received products full of mercury and other substances that can be potentially harmful, and even cause DEATH, yep, listen to the DIVA, please! There are vital therapeutic ingredients in Epionce products that work synergistically to allow the skin to have a strong barrier. You see, a strong barrier equals healthy skin in regards to 100% functionality and protection. Epionce is specifically designed to mimic the foundational importance for maximum functioning of your skin. In other words, Epionce is feeding your skin what it needs for optimum performance. If your skin is healthy, it will have the maximum potential of looking well-balanced and radiant. A healthy barrier is the goal of Epionce products. We all have to start with a sturdy foundation, think of when you are building a home, a strong foundation is critical in regards to the longevity of the house. Epionce makes things simple by having four categories to work with: 1. Cleanse & Prepare 2. Correct & Boost 3. Renew & Fortify 4. Protect & Prevent The goal is to remove impurities such as dirt, oil without causing irritation to the skin and correcting any skin imperfections such as redness, uneven texture, and blemishes. Finally, you want to make sure you hydrate and improve your radiance with potent renewal lotions/creams and defense serums. Lastly, you finish off with my fave, SPF as the final protector for your skincare investment. After all, all the money spent on procedures (i.e., lasers, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, etc.) will be a waste if your daily routine isn’t up to par. So, join me on my journey in October as I discover how Epionce cares for me and the world. I would love your Qs and feedback! MUAH!????
